Dr. George Drosatos is a Principal Researcher (Researcher Grade B) at the Institute for Language and Speech Processing of the Athena Research Center, specializing in Privacy-Enhancing Technologies for Content Analysis and Retrieval. He has an interdisciplinary background and extensive experience in research projects focusing on privacy enhancement, information security, and biomedical informatics. He has participated in more than 19 national and European research projects and has served as Secretary General of the European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering & Science (EAMBES). His research output includes over 70 publications with more than 1,600 citations (h-index 21) and active involvement as an editorial board member and guest editor in international scientific journals.
